So far this year, we’ve covered:.
But mostly just trying to enjoy the quiet.🙂 And then there came the email that changed everything.

They had read the manuscript and loved it!It was already with the copy editor! They decided that they were going to change the title of the book after all and they were going to use one of my suggestions from a few months ago as inspiration!

They wanted to do photos in the book and they wanted me to take the photos!I mean, I said I would take the photos and all, but I didn’t think they’d actually.

I mean, I take pictures all the time, but they’re always just really casual, in-the-moment kind of things while I’m doing something that I needed to get done around the house that I thought you might be interested in reading about on the blog.
It’s my profession and all, but I’m not like.At some point, I had to start figuring out how I was going to keep my house clean, grow my blogging business, tackle our renovations, and have a normal family life, all at the same time, regardless of what phase of life we were in.
If I didn’t just start getting stuff., then it was just never going to happen.
Right now, Kennedy’s got a crazy travel soccer schedule, Jack’s a typical “into everything” 2 year old, and we’re up to our neck in bathroom and kitchen renovations. It’s so easy for me to feel like I’m a blogger with no time to blog, and a housewife with no time to house, until I remember these little secret weapons that I’ve learned over the last few years, and probably really perfected when Jack was a little baby that I couldn’t.
